Echo Beatty is the moniker of Annelies Van Dinter. With an arresting voice and distinct guitar playing, Van Dinter's songwriting and performances ooze an urgency and intensity, grabbing the listener by the shoulders for a ride to the exciting realms of her music. A punker at heart, Van Dinter plays with the tension between bold, rugged sounds and infectious melodies.
Cherished by her musician peers and the connoisseurs of the Belgian alternative scene Echo Beatty is still an undercover indie queen. Her path is one of unwavering dedication to exploration, refusing to be confined by any predetermined format, choosing the roads less traveled.

Tidal Motions (2013, ICARUS/Vynilla), Nonetheless (2016, WasteMyRecords), joined Unday Records for her Ode To The Attempt EP release in 2019, who also released her third album ‘Vision Glitch’ in March 2023 and now a digital EP ‘Candor Candor’ in November 2023.
Echo Beatty has performed at Pukkelpop (BE), Eurosonic (NL), One Of A Million (CH), Boomtown (BE) and has played throughout Europe & the UK in venues such as Paradiso (Amsterdam, NL), Lille Vega (Copenhagen, DK), Blå (Oslo, NO), Bi Nuu (Berlin, DE), The Lexington (London, UK), La Maroquinerie (Paris, FR), Brotfabrik (Frankfurt, DE), etc. .
In homeland Belgium Echo Beatty has taken the beautiful stages of Ancienne Belgique, De Vooruit, Handelsbeurs, De Roma, Botanique, Muziekcentrum Trix, CACTUS, 4AD and STUK multiple times and shared the stage throughout the years with other great bands and artists like Amen Dunes, Blonde Redhead, John Parish, Tindersticks, Pete Doherty, Warhaus, Trixie Whitley, Arno... .
The live performances of Echo Beatty are very much alive and an exciting feat.
